How to apply
Start a junior application.
Complete the Junior Membership Form and submit it to the Historian with the $50 fee. If you pay the fee online, include a copy of the receipt with the application.
If the junior applicant is descended from a current Maryland member, the lineage is usually quick to verify because most of the work was done for the sponsoring member’s application.
At 18
Convert to regular membership.
Between ages 18 and 25, a junior member may convert to Regular or Life Membership using their existing lineage documentation. The Maryland Historian provides final approval for junior conversions. The standard Regular Member procedures and fees apply.
