Society Field Trip

Our Maryland Mayflower Society is hosting family day at Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM), which is located in a park-like setting in beautiful St. Michaels. Founded in 1965, the Museum houses the world’s largest collection of Chesapeake Bay boats and provides interactive exhibits in and around 35 buildings. Explore the Chesapeake Bay through hands-on programs, take in an exhibition, shop in the Museum store, or watch a boat being restored in the working shipyard.

Located in the heart of St. Michaels’ historic district along the harbor and Miles River, the Marina is a short walk from the area’s best restaurants, specialty shops, and other attractions. This will be a memorable day as it is Armed Forces Day too. Bring your children and grandchildren and together we can explore Chesapeake Bay! The tour will be led by a knowledgeable guide.
